As a result of this misfortune, the team was forced to forfeit a range of 18 to 24 points per match. Although the team does have some fine individual wrestlers, including sophomores Tony Balagtas and Ed Lacangan, their contri- bution of points was not enough to com- pensate for the lack of players. In prep- aration for next year's team, Coach Dave Peterson plans to recruit capable athletes to wrestle in the upper weights division. 83
