Baseball team under the coaching of Coach Link worked to improve on last year's record. Led by juniors Patrick Williams and Pedro Villanueva the team played with a lot of energy. The infield was headed by the strong play of Gerado Benavides. The pitchers were led by young Robert Wilson. Wil- liams was also the key man in the outfield. The team hoped to do very well this year with a lot of hard play and determination! H

Well-established with six returning lettermen, the Aztecs started the season with an impressive win over Chula Vista. The Aztec in-field was made up of returnees: Gary Tomlinson Cshortstopj, Gary Stacy 13rd Basel, jose Benavides 12nd basej, and pitchers Scott Travers and Fernando Reynoso.
