The team is led by sin- gle player Alex Castro and doubles partners Ray Aquino and Steve Caro fco-captainsj. I feel that we have a good chance of finishing in the top three this year, states Coach Pat Samples. T' p A , 2' ,Q ' Y 1 ..,., Tig I ,, A ' t ust can't take this anymore! ,I owQ'1g, This year's Aztec Swimming Team was a mixture of the experienced and the inexperienced. Early in the season, after a loss to Chula Vista, the Aztec Swimmers returned to beat Sweetwater. The team was led by senior Wayne Hawk, who, along with Troy Scheet, were named captain and co-captain respectively. Hawk gained honors for placing third in Metro finals diving last year. Other re- turnees that contributed greatly to the Aztec Swimming Team were Troy Scheet, Donald Bisner, Dawn Murray, Jeff Prieto, and Mike Wascher. Next year, the swimming team will have the potential with the returning members who will have eventually gained experience and will make important contributions to the swimming program Ns
