Many of our history teachers enjoy certain recreational areas around San Diego. Mrs. Tempchin, who teaches U.S. History and Govern- ment, enjoys walking along the beach areas of San Diego. She also enjoys certain historical areas and the mountains of San Diego. Mr. Galvin, a bilingual History teacher, is a native of San Diego, graduated from St. Augustine High and likes to visit local golf courses and ten- nis courts. Another History teach- er, Mr. Maio, moved to San Diego when he was four and especially enjoys Balboa Park and certain lakes in San Diego for fishing. Mr. Griffith attended Sweetwater High.
