Class Prophecy Eureka! At last, I've got it! These were the exclamations of two young M. H. S. amateur scientists. What had they found? At last after many months of hard labor, they had completed the first successful time- traveling machine. And this is how they used it. As an experimental trip, they went twenty years into the future, and looked up all their old classmates, and returned to tell of their experiences. LOG-We arrived in the future world just a few moments ago. It is a strange feeling, this sudden transi- tion into the ultra modern world of 20 years from now or should Isay then? We met Jim Nunley first. He's a respectable bald-headed businessman. When we met him, he was just returning home to his wife, Mary Bowles. He was the owner of a large chain-store. When we inquired about the former students of M. H. S. he gave us the following account: Melvin Thompson and Phillip Ferrell are branch managers of my store, he said. Harold Stahl and Vic Wrightson went into partnership, and are piloting a river tug in New York. Henry Tolley and Ed Hall are famous engineers, and are building a bridge across the Caribbean Sea at the presenlt time. Henry Tolley is married to Eileen Petty, and they live in Florida. Samuel T, Nicastro is a side show barker in the Baker-Bickford Exposition Shows, Inc., and is well known to all the freak's. Arnold Buckley married a wealthy heiress, and lives on his wife's estate in Hawaii. Charles Hartsock and Charles Adkins are partners in a conftracting firm. Charles Hartsock is married to Mary Elizabeth Steele, and Charles Adkins is married to Helen Ingram. Dorothy Franks, Nellie Sandoro, and Mary Emma Foreman have a millinery store on Fifth Avenue, and are famous designers. Bob Miller married Lois Timmons and is coaching basketball at Duke, and Bob Smith and Alline are coaching at Temple. Lola Pollock and Margaret Roeser are physical education instructors at West Virginia University. Bobby Stowers has a famous dance band and is touring Antartic during this season. Little is a little does! James Radford has dyed his hair black and is a stand in for harbor roles, out in Hollywood. Bethel Strickland, who married a Senator's son, is trying to get Joe Skaggs into Congress. Mary Manley and Carl Tummins are doing a Song and Dance Blackface act in Jimmy Martin's Black Stork night club. Most off M. H. S.' faculty has been replaced. Dorlene Kidd, Marie Johnson, Addilee Jamison, Beulah Wriston and Mary Jeffers have replaced the old ones. Robert Wood, G. B. Ziegler, and Jim Abbot have bought 10,000 acres out in the American Desert and are raising onions and cabbage. Reno Dalporto is a famous trapeze artist and acrobat in his cous-in's circus, Lido Dalporto. Elwood Polley is the strong man in one of the side shows. Bennie Marshall is driving racing cars out on the Bonneville salt flat speedway. Helen Hall is on location out in Hollywood, and is regarded by critics as the second Mae West. Jean Oxley is head switchboard operator in the New York Central Exchange. Norma Shrewsbury is happily married to Ray Crow, who is pitching for the perennial New York Yankees. Doris Custer isa celebrated actress on the Metropolitan stage. Helen Goheen and Gapey Carson are owners of a Night Club in Chicago. Dorothy Hastings is still married happily and has a family.
