The Varsity M Club was formed on February 7, 1930, for the boys earning letters for the school year of 1929-1930. Coach P. W. Workman was sponsor of the club. Officers elected for that year were as follows: President, William Crouse, Vice-President, Wyatt Slack, Secretary-Treasurer, Jess Poffg Sergeant-at-Arms, Thomas H. Robinson.
