WITH GALA PERFORMANCE Handling affairs during the second semester was pres- ident John Logan. George Yaminishi, vice-president, Ruby Tsubouchi, secretary and Ken Hardy, treasurer, helped in staging the rummage sale and the final activities of the year. Now that big moment in our lives has come. We are ready to leave childhood behind and take up our roles as adults. For us this may mean mar- riage, Korea, jobs or college. For the last four years we have been preparing for this step while attending Monterey Union High School. Of the graduating class, many of us have been .here the whole four years. We have seen many changes: the building of Treasure Music Hall, additional parking lots, the Tennis Shack, and now the plans for a new English Building. Our reminisc- ing goes back to that day in the spring of 1950 when we came up to view the campus as eighth grade students, not knowing one hall from the other. But not all the changes have been tan- gible. The student body has grown, and many new courses have been added to the curriculum. We remember the feeling of awe we had as fresh- men when we first stepped on the stage and now as seniors, we stand waiting in the wings-our lines learned-ready to take our places on the nbroadwayi' of the future.
