MSU tore down their horsebarn and put up the art and architecture irking lot. in an effort to accomodate the increasingly large amount of cars on of decalled cars for the 1977-1978 school year totaled 11.108. This included on bus students, along with the staff. There was still a number of unregistered cars. Jre was no estimate, bringing the car population to an even higher total. Despite larking lots, valid complaints on the lack of space for parking vehicles were sard. Everything was filled! 13 12972

am mm ww J JJ p-------------------------- Community University: A Change Of Pace In Education A new concept in education was created in 1976 when Community University was begun Created to provide classes not necessarily geared for a college or as supplement to the university sphere. CU provided night and weekend learning for MSU students and non-students in the Bozeman community. A variety of classes were taught, ranging from guitar and banjo playing to bellydancing, from flycasting to figure drawing. 1977 began slowly for CU. with 330 students enrolled. With the help of a promotional folder, enrollment climbed. By Spring Quarter. 857 students were involved in CU. 52% of them MSU students. p» oios by w
