 The Montana State Physical Education program offered a variety of dance classes ranging from jazz to ballet. The dance classes were taught by Rozan Pitcher, a graduate from Utah State who has danced since the age of four. The dance studio is located on second floor in Romney Gym. Students could be found dancing there to music by Tschaikowsky or to songs from the album ‘‘Saturday Night Fever”. The M.S.U. Dance Company, a group made up of interested dance students, put on a concert in the spring of 1978. Students practiced nights and weekends in order to prepare for their performance. The concert was attended well, which goes to show how the attitudes towards liberal arts at M.S.U. are showing more interest every year.
