Student Senate W Student Senate is the governing body for the Associated Students of Montana State University QASMSUJ. The membership is composed of the various commissioners, the four class presidents, and the ASMSU President and Vice President. These members are chosen in an all- campus, Spring quarter election. Observing the upper limit of their S105,000.00 budget, the Student Senate supported a vast number of activities and programs. Of special significance was the financial and advisory support they gave to make the KATS Radio Station a reality. Another committee began investigating the pos- sibility of constructing an elfective instructor evaluation program. Student Senate financially backed a variety of programs-from livestock judging teams to dramaticsg concerts to intramural sportsg publications to forensics. And it all began with the rap of a gavel.
