Student Senate EUGENE WILDE, President of the Associated Students, is a Civil Engineer from Bomville. Famous for his pipe ond cor. Gene is on outstanding member of his fraternity. Pi Koppo Alpho. He has performed his job conscientiously in developing the scope of the Student Scnote. The Student Senote is responsible for the direction of all student activities and provides a democratic student government. This spring the Senate presented the student body with the first revision of the Constitution of the Associated Students in six years, to bring it up to date and define the powers of officers more clearly. The officers of Editor of the Montanan and Exponent were made appointive instead of elective. The new Constitution becomes effective next yeor. Campos HIGH SCHOOL WEEK. Moking plons for the thousond high school students who thronged the campus Moy 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gave this committee lots of work in plonning the first peacetime High School Week in four years. General chairmen Vic Smith and Jone Motzke, and co-chairmen Bob Balch and Ruth McDonald worked with Mr. M. Good. PUBLICATIONS. Editors and advisors of the campus publications are claimed by the Board of Publications which shapes policies and considers problems. Members are Ann Mahan, Ed. of Exponent; Herbert White, Advisor of Exponent; Ed Howard; Ruth Dobler, chairman; Louis G. True, Advisor of Montanan; Patty Rend, Ed. of the Montanan. STUDENT HEALTH. A new committee wos formed this year to pass on appropriations for the Student Health Service. Jim Lyons, Dr. Carl W. Hammer, Jeon Stehlik, and Helen Butterfield worked on this committee. STUDENT-FACULTY RELATIONS. Better known as the gripe committee, these students and faculty members handle complaints and recommend their adjustments.
