The Fine Arts expand our insights, understandings, and appreciations for the inspired awareness that is the best of humaness. It is because of man's hurnaness that we recommend Art as a part of the full life. To many, home economics is synonymous with cooking and sewing. Although this is a part of our curriculum, the scope is much broader. Home economics also includes interior design, child development, family relations, management, and finance. Our primary objective is to help students become better citizens through the understanding and assumption of responsibilities. MARGARET MEZERA GAYLE PFEIL BARBARA VOSS University of Wisconsin, B.S. At Monona Grove we have a very comprehensive social studies program. In two years our four year high school sequence will be in full operation within the framework of a new district program. All years will be co- ordinated with an emphasis on a conceptional development approach instead of a focus on subject matter. In addition to our regular program we will continue to offer Geography, International Relations, Psychology, and Advanced Government and Economics. gn--pqgqnm-Q PHILIP DOWLING GEORGE DURNFORD RAYMOND KRIZMANIC University of Wisconsin, B.S., Beloit College, B.A. St. Joseph College, B.A. M.S.
