AF SZVS OT! to SU77'l'Tl'l67' Sue Spending her summer in Kusadese, Turkey was quite a new experience for AFSer Susan Woodrow, who lived with the Tahsin Konurays in their summer home for about three months. Susan says, meeting the warm Turkish people, swimming in the Aegean Sea, and eating octopus were some of her most wonderful moments. 79

Jorge Pavon-Gala, from the capital city of Honduras, has been staying with the Matthews family during the school year. His favorite subjects are history, math, and English. Jorge likes to play basketball and he enjoys skiing. One of his favorite foods is a terrific club sandwich which he eats with relish. Peanut butter and sundies are Esen Oz en's 8 favorite foods here in America. Esen likes M. G. because it satisfies a student's needs both scholastically and socially. The only thing she doesn't like is the 72 minute class periods. She has been spending the school year with the Woodrows and will return to Turkey after sight-seeing in the U. S. HOMECOMI G J 63 The homecoming festivities started with a wild snake dance- to burn Fort, and bum they did with M G 20-0 victory. During theegame, Queen Marsha and her courtlwere introduced. Then the queen and her court made the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night a big success. The decorations of the Comm1ss1ons made the dance an unforgettable event.
