Special Guests Visit MC Campus Political analyst Richard M. Scammon addressing crowd in the Mon- mouth College auditorium. The year 1976-77 saw another fine group of speakers on campus only a few of which are pictured here. Their topics covered endless areas. These speakers were brought to the campus through the efforts of CAB, chemistry collo- quiem, and many other interested groups. Each year the quality of these individuals reaches a new peak, and ' 76- ' 77 did not prove disappointing in this aspect. Scot Sing 1977 Scot Sing winners, Kappa Delta and Sigma Phi Epsilon, sing royally with open hands to a typical enthused packed audience. The annual Scot Sing again turned out to be a great success with a packed auditorium cheering the par- ticipants on. The combination of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and the PI Beta Phi sorority (at left), presenting a return to the fifties, was another popular favorite In addition to the winners, (shown above) The annual spring affair, sponsored by the Blue Key honorary fraternity, brought out the true spirit of the Monmouth College student body. ;•:;•• Dr. Lyman 0. Williams, one of this year ' s team of emcees, introduces another well practiced act. Scot Olympics On Saturday, May 7, an annual Monmouth College tradition was again upheld. Under warm sunny skies, many students partici- pated in events ranging from the tug of war to the egg toss. The spirit of the day was competition for fun only, and those taking part in the day ' s activities made the annual festival a success. A few came away from the morning and afternoon of good times with scrapes and sore muscles but the joy of participating was held by all. Pi Phi Ellen Evans hops and smiles in the sack race as her sorority sister, Sharon Phelan, cheers her on. Trying to catch up is Kappa Jane Nehnevay.
