Beginning their careers at M. C. under the leadership if tall LeRo}- King, they donned freshman caps, pole-scrapped valiently, but to no a ail. As sophomores, they chose Jim McConnell to lead them, and capably managed Monmouth ' s last pre-war Homecoming.
