The main reason for their fine record, was contributed to the hustling attitude and the desire to win of the boys. These combinations were hard to beat on the playing field. The team was greatly sparked by several outstanding seniors. Three of them, George Krupicka, Roy Howell, and Roger Phelps, were selected on the W.V.L. All-Star-Team.
