' Vllhen we appeared on the scene the next fall, we were no longer lowly Rooks sitting shyly in the back seats of the assembly hall but were able to claim our rightful places as Sophomores. lt was this year we entrusted our class leadership to: Pat Magill, President: David Patterson. Vice-Presidentg Pat Or- cutt. Secretaryg and Joann Freeman, Treasurer. The advisors were Mr. Lee and Mr. Havlic. This year as Upper Classmen we have already done many things that any class could well be proud of. The show Jack London presented by the class. was enjoyed by every student. Five of our group: Vance Philpot, Beverly Chind- gren. Bill Monroe, Pat Orcutt, and Buzz Wlheatley, were chosen to take part in the Student Body Play.
