J OANN FREEMAN S CHARLOTTE GIBBONEY FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY On September 17, 103 Freshmen entered the Molalla halls of learning. After a few weeks of it just to ourselves, we became acquainted and elected our officers. They were: President, Vance Philpotg vice-president, Bob Sandgreng secretary, Helen VVrolstadg treasurer, Lois Boyd: executive committeeman, Joe Gribbleg yell leaders, Dorothy Eby and Robert McClaskeyg song queens, Joann Freeman and Charlotte Gibboney. Our class advisors were Miss Hoskins and Mrs. XYinters. Junior Red Cross representatives are Lois Boyd and David Patterson. Of the many students going out for sports three made letters. They were Bob Sandgren, Grant Schiewe, and Jim Lais. The Sophomores honored the Freshmen with a party and in appreciation they returned one in March. Some of the Freshmen making the Honor Roll were: David Patterson, Pat Orcutt, Pat Magill, Ruth Walch, Barbara Russell, Harry Xkfright, Joann Freeman. and Helen Wrolstad. XVith such a good start we shall be able to contribute our part to the school in the next three years.
