Ill Milli IIIII WIIUUBIUIIUIIIIHIIIUIM if ma .lllli i i l 1 l P 1 l x x Q 3 i f 4 I llml 6.1.- June Seniors EPTEMBER, 1923, to june, 1927, has been four years packed with work and play. We have suf- fered as Freshmen, progressed as Sophomores, conquered as Juniors, and lived as Seniors, but we must say good-bye. A midget Frosh skips by and reminds us of the days when we were the brunt of every dig,' and bit of laughter. Looking over the years that have intervened since we were Frosh, we find our history muchthe same as that of other classes, being ever loyal citizens of our little republic, from the first we assumed leadership in athletics, music, dramat- ics, and other activities. The things we have done this year are the most note- T worthy. It was the Seniors who made possible the Syca- Miss Downey, Advisor more by their extended effort to secure sufficient subscriptions. It was also the Seniors who contributed their memorial fund toward enabling the band to go east. In all student activities we have participated, not in a mediocre manner, but have starred. That our record may live, let us review the fields in which we excelled. Ray East, Alden Willaims, Glenn Hemphill, Kenneth Mott, Burge Mason, and Gilbert Johnson-these and others have starred in athletics. Barbara Nash, Geraldine Wood, Leonard Sise, Martha Tucker, Henry Murray, Lynn Harp-these and others have excelled in dramatics. Kenneth Steiger, Katherine Hous- ton, and Evelyn Christman carried leads in the operetta. Stanley Peterson, Robert Hansen, Erma Davis, Walter Miles, and Lilloet Bent have been prominent in student body affairs. Leonard Sise was runner-up in the oratorical and Shakespearean contests. These are but a few examples, let them suffice to prove the greatness of our class. We have been Seniors worthy of the homage paid us. During our last strenuous year Burge Mason and Robert Hansen have been our presi- dents, Geraldine Galusha and Raymond East, vice-presidents, Gladyce Wilson and Lilloet Bent, our secretary-treasurers.
