A MESSAGE FROM CAPTAIN C. C. MILLER In greeting the crew of the MOBILE through The Ship's Album I would like to say some- thing of her reputation. At all stops enroute to join the MOBILE, Washington, San Francisco, Pearl Harbor and at three Island Bases, the offi- cers to whom I talked always had the same an- swer, You are getting a fine ship. Since I have been aboard, the Mobile and her crew have many times proved the above statement as is manifested by her high score of enemy flags.
