The 1975-76 school year is quite dif- ferent from many years past. School enrollment is now over 12,000, as compared with 173 of 70 years ago. Organizations number well over 100, unlike the 1908 listing of three. Tu- ition and incidental fee costs total S180 per semester, which is quite dif- ferent from the S12 of the 1894 school. A complete total of twelve courses were offered in the school's early years, where one may now receive specializations in areas under the var- ious departments of the five schools of study. In its seventy years as a state school, SMSU has come a long way.
