Gamma Sigma Sigma ...tr ...av MMS - V L. ' W ,. ---ibn' le- A - The Gamma Sigma Sigma Chapter was started on the SMSU campus in October, 1972. As their purpose states, they are of service to the campus, community, and humanity through their activities. Muscular Dystrophy Dance Marathon, bike registration, river clean-up, Christmas party, halloween par- ty, and Thanksgiving food drive for underprivileged chil- dren are a few of the club's activities. Service to the college, community, chapter and the country. The organization's central project is the annual Muscular Dystrophy Dance Marathon. The organization also works with the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, the wel- fare office and participates in campus activities. Association Of Women Students The Association of Women Students is an organization established to unite women students on campus and to enable them to speak and act as the united voice of women of SMSU.
