Progress Or Destruction Lies ln The Realm Of Science On entering the Science Building the student is greeted by an odoriferous conglomeration encountered nowhere else within the confines of the campus. One's nostrils are assailed by the smell of formaldehyde from the biology lab, sulphur from the chemistry lab, and supper from the home economics lab. These are but a fevv manifestations of the vigorous activity carried on by the College's men fand womenl of science. Course work in biology, physics, chemistry and geology is included in the curriculum for students aspiring to pursue a career in some field of natural science. They care for sharks. It could be that these sharks are going to be the lunch tor vice versal of Paul Huebner, Mike Swan, Linda Faye, Jim Beck, Darrell Baker, Dee Secker, and Becky Lemmell. Labeling racks of rocks and stones on stands, Dr. Retallick's student secre- tary, Susan Byers, seems to be only a stone's throw from a completed task. Seriously analyzing acid factors with a PH meter are Don Butts and Guy Mace who determine acidity equivalents in a physicial chemistry class.
