Behind the scenes of Springfield Teachers College is a group of men seldom seen by the students, who make the cogs of S. T. C. revolve. They are the Board of Regents. The duties and responsibilities of the Board are many and varied. Probably one of the most important duties is the election of the faculty and administrative officers of the college. There are six members on our Board of Regents. Two are appointed every two years and each serves for a term of six years. Appointment is made by Of IQIEGEN the Governor with the consent of the State Senate. During the pastyear there have been two changes in the personnel of this governing body. V. A. Dobyns and C. C. james were replaced by Lon Haymes of Springfield and Ralph Burley of Lebanon. The rest of the Board is composed of Sam E. Trimble, Springfield, president of the Board, W. l. Sewall, Carthage, B. F. julian, Marshfield, and R. W. Anderson, Neosho. TS W. J. Sewall Dalph Burley I3. f. Julian
