DEDICATIO To our President and his wife Dr. and Mrs. Burney Lynch Parkinson In recognition and appreciation for twenty years of unseliish and devoted service and lead- ership for MSCW. They came to MSCVV during the dark depression days of 1932, at a time when MSCVV had lost all accreditment and national standing. Through the trying days of unrest and wars and then through the bright days, they have worked unceasingly to build and mold a better MSCWethe MSCW we know today. Together they have worked steadily with Vision to uphold the ideals, scholarship, and standards in which they believed. Thousands of MSCW girls of today and yesterday carry with them these ideals which characterize the Parkinsons. Because they have provided a spiritual, intellectual, social, and aesthetic en- vironment conducive to high character developmenteand; because they have always shown such a sincere personal interest in iitheir girls? which makes all who know them love them-we, the Senior Class, who cherish our Alma Mater, are proud to dedicate the 1952 MEH LADY to Dr. and Mrs. Parkinson.
