GAMMA THETA CHAPTER The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was founded at the Unixersity of Virginia, March 1, 1868. Chapters of the Pi Kappa Alpha spread throughout the South and Gamma Theta Chapter here at Mississippi State College was founded May 27, 1927. Gamma Theta Chapter has, since its founding, taken a very active part in all Interfraternity, social, and other activities on the campus. Walter W. KAPPA ALPHA ORDER Southern Genelemen, Suh Disciples of Robert E. Lee Dispensers, since 1865, of that rare but true virtue. Southern Hospitality. This, the Beta Tau Chapter of the Order, was established on State ' s campus in 1927, growing out of the Lee Guard, a social-military organization founded nine years after the college first opened its doors to students. These Knights of the Confederacy love best of all flowers the Magnolia and the Red Rose, and are always true to the colors Crimson and Old Gold.
