Webster's dictionary defines a "goal" as an end one strives to attain. Four
years ago when you entered high school, each of you set graduation as a goal.
On June 5th, it will be a realization.
You must now establish a new goal. Some of these will be short range and
others long range. They may involve further education or the finding and hold-
ing of a iob. Remember also that Webster indicates that goals must be attained
through the application of effort. You may have an inherited talent or ability, but
what you do with it is entirely up to you. Just as you alone can set the goal, so
also you are the master of whether or not it can be achieved. Do not underesti-
mate your abilities, but at the same time don't overrate yourself. Either can lead
