These miraculous boys rose from being the undersdogs last year, to tying for first place in the Foothill Division of the D.V.A.l. The team voted for the best defensive player, who was Bob Hudson. Bill Houston was voted the most valuable player, and the team chose Floyd Blaney and Randy Young for team captains. Two of the team players made first string all county teamg John Coffey and Bill Houston. This is quite a record for any team. The faithful efforts of these boys won Miramonte respectful recognition.
