U.A'lTlllNlll The big event of the Latin ll Club was the annual Latin Banquet in April, in the school cafeteria. The Latin l and ll Clubs combine to make this yearly event a success. Everyone appropriately dresses in togs, which always provides for many laughs. The latin l Club is made to serve the Latin ll Club. ln addition to the banquet, the club also had a Christ- mas party in the home of one ofthe members. The Latin l Club was one of the many clubs that contributed to the Car- nival inthe Fall. They sponsored the miniature golf. Their socials this year include a Christmas party and a Latin Banquet in April.

The Jr. Red Crass, a truly worthy service club, has been busy with numerous activi- ties this year. They made a hundred braille covers for the blind. They made twenty-tive stuffed animals for overseas children. They entertained mentally retarded children at their school. They worked as stat? aides at the Mt, Diablo Chapter House, and they wrapped Christmas packages at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital. This service club has really servedl BR. Third row: Burly Willes, Eric Walling, Cliff Aberham. DBA QEUI The Drama Club's pet proiect this year was the production of Mira- monte's first Senior Play, Lute Song. In addition to the play, the club put on a heart-warming one act play at the Christmas assembly called Why the Chimes Rang. The Drama Club has had a lot of enioyment working together on these various productions. The club took a trip to old Vic's in San Francisco to see Shakespeare's Henry the Fifth.
