Sl! Elmll The Music Department has been continually active this year in many various activities. Three girls were chosen to spend Spring Vacation week in Salt lake City. These girls were Emma Rein- hardt, Barbara Stern, and Linda Hart. These participants were chosen by recommendations of the directors based upon ability, effort, and interest. The Band performed at the Christmas program held during an assembly and also al night tor the Parents. They also performed at the Mirama, the Spring Concert, and the Pops Concert. The Band, for the first time, have new green and white uniforms. The Music Department has done much to add to the enioyments of students at Miramonte. UITBAMIA The Music Department was the sponsor of the tirst all-school talent show that was produced on such a large scale. The Mirama was held on a cool March night. Mr. Franceschini, starring, and the rest of the talented cast contributing, lead the Mirama to be an evening of light- hearted entertainment.
