We, the first graduating class of Miramonte, feel honored to have had the opportunity of playing the maior roll in the development of our new school. After four years of hard work and lots of fun, we have reached the peak of our high school dreams. Let us turn back the hands of time and think of the day we en- tered as freshmen. This was different from anything we had ever experienced, and we found we were on our own. Our Sophomore year was quite a bit different and one of our best loved. ln the fall of our second year, Gary Lucas and Judy Roberts were chosen King and Queen of our annual football dance. Glamour and enthusiasm filled the air in the fall of our Junior year. This year was started with a bang. Class officers were elected first. Mike Wilmar, Presidentp Pat Butler, Vice-President7 Roxie Huntley, Secretary7 and Pam Schmidt, Treasurer, were our capable leaders. One of the most exciting festivities of the year was the Junior Prom. The dance was a result of much hard work and a booming success. The fall of 1958 was both happy and sad, for we were deserving Seniors. As the first class of Miramonte, we have been, in a sense, Sen.iors from the beginning of our Freshman year. Yet, this year has been one of the best in our lives. We worked hard and loved every moment of it. Senior Class officers were elected. They were, Bicky Clif- ford, President7 Roxie Huntley, Vice-President7 Louise Cianclarulo, Secretary: and Donna Lane, Treasurer. The constant buzzing of the Mirada staff filled our days with fun. Our Senior pictures were made and graduation invitations were ordered. Graduation was planned and all attended the Senior Ball. This time, we were on the receiving end. Oh, how nice it seemed! We look upon our four years at Miramonte as the years in which we have grown. into full maturity. Now that we are about to embark upon new adventure, we realize the responsibilities that we will accept as the first graduating class of Miramonte High School. We, the Senior Class say, Thank you, Miramonte, for life long friendships and never the be forgotten memories.
