CLASS HISTORY Hustoruans have wrutten of ancuent hustory medueval hustory and modern hustory Now ut comes tume to wrute the class hustory of the 1954 graduatung class Most of us attended only one of the grade schools here un Munot so we know luttle of what took place at the other fuve schools For thus reason let us now spend a few munutes vusutung the varuous grade schools as they were when we were there Furst We wull vusut Washungton grade school Every one here seems to be havung a good tume Over there are Elaune Kvam Jo Ann Kerr Janet Waterman and Marlene Kalk playung a quuck game of lacks The boys Davud Waldron Ruchard Anderson Roland ju hala Gerald Gausvuck and Ronald Ronnung are busy teasung the gurls But where are Joan Pruce and Boyd Chrustenson and Gaul Sannes and Stanley Lunnertz7 Oh there they are Gaul and Stan are tellung oan and Boyd about last Saturday s Western Gaul us descrubung how she spent her week s allowance on the tuckets and how she bought the tuckets then ran outsude and gave a tucket to Stan who should have had a lunuor tucket rather than a chuldren s and then came back un to enjoy the movue Stan tells how he and Gaul took off theur shoes and put theur feet up on the seats un front of them Well here comes luttle Wayne Lenaburg all by humself He asks the kuds uf they would luke to come over to hus playhouse after school and eat some of the crabapples they had obtauned a couple of days before Everyone seems all excuted about a program they wull guve for Mothers Day Each gurl has been guven a name of a flower and a speakung part whuch wull be spoken to the ueen of Flowers the rose por trayed by Janet Gresluvold Our next stop wull be Central Oh what a grand tume everyone us havurug Whos that kussung all the gurls? Wfhy uf ut usn t the shy luttle Donald Harold Everyone us proud of the basketball team and uts luvely cheerleaders Gene Afseth Ted Pedas Gary Cranston and Arnue Alm are the bug shots on the teams Mavus Avery Carole Howell and Karen Shurley are the three cheerleaders dusplayung the school colors yellow and blue and chantung the school song Central Wull Shme Tonught What un the world are Gene Ted Arnue and Gary doung7 They re all lookung up un the sky as uf lookung for somethung Oh now we know someone saud they have just organuzed a burd watchung c ub For our next stop let us drop by Sunnysude grade school Boyd Hanson us beung teased and called the Strong Man ever sunce he carrued a gurl through the tunnel under the Fourth Axenue overpass The basketball teams don t ex en seem as full of lufe as the cheerleaders Rose Morgan Januce Day and Beverly Mautland These three gurls we fund duscussung theur new cheerleadung unuforms yellovu T shurts and green corduroy slacks We hear the bows grumblung about how the teacher had drafted them for the basketball team But the bug neu s of the day here us that durty Luncoln had defeated them the day before un a real rooten game Everyone us stull hot under the collar about thus Now uts oxer to Roosexelt where we fund some severe cases of puppy lose The best example us Louus Caley and Muruam Mueller who began goung steady un the furst grade and have had luttle trouble untul today Today Stanley Lunnertz fwho later transferred to Washungtonj decuded he Wanted Muruam for hus gurl fruend Over on the other sude of the school buuldung we fund ean Parge wuth a strung of boys behund her and Donna Jean Selk laughung about the fact that Vernon Knudtson on a bet had kussed Donna ean whule the teacher was out of the room McKunley us the next school on our lust and here we wutness a thrullung kuck ball game between the Reds and the Blacks Team captauns are Vuvuan Maragos and Donna Luedke After the game the teams gang up on each other But whule we have been watchung the game we hear a bug commotuon un the other durectuon What us ut?
