This is the Sophomores Finally getting our feet down to earthi' in our high school education. The sophomore class of 1957 have had a nice year. Our officers elected the first of the year were: President Kathi Anderson, Vice-President Jim Herringer, Secretary Margie Knudson, Treasurer Joyce Murley. Representing us in the Student Coun- cil were: Barb Heap and Willie Spencer. They did a very fine job. To raise money for our class treasury we gave a Thanksgiving party on November 16, which was a big success. During the party we featured an imitation of the well-known tele- vision program It Could Be Youf, We also had an Elvis Presley contest, in which three boys participated. Another money - raising project was our class lu.ncheon held at the Methodist Church on March 22. Four of our boys played basketball, and two played on the baseball team. Two of our girls were ehosen to lead the school in cheers during the basketball season. During the past year our academic average has improved. We now have eight of our class representing us on the honor roll. We all would sincerely like to thank our class advisor, Miss Manfred, for her help and cooperation in making our year the success that it has been.
