Yes, it seems impossible that four years have gone by since we landed as Freshmen at Minooka High all starry eyed and green. However, our first three years passed quickly, and by the end of our junior Year the anticipation for our Senior Year to come was great. Miss Kasak called a class meet- ing for us to elect our class ofhcers for our last year. Tom Murley was chosen as President. Margaret Vaksdal was to be his right-hand lady as Vice-President while Villa Williams was to take the minutes and Joan Knudson to record the finances. The thoughts of being a big senior with noth- ing to do were soon squelehed when we returned for that long-awaited year in September, 1956. Reports, term papers, and the Constitution tests made us work-big seniors at that. Oh, don't get us wrong, we had many good times too in senior year. Six of our boys led our basketball team to many victories-Tom Murley, Leonard Peterson, Joe Schuck, John Stegman, Ron Dirst and Merle Brust. Our senior play, 'lBoy Appealf' turned out to be a big success with Margaret Vaksdal, Villa VVilliams, Bev Cook, Andrew Anderson, Jeanen Bohnstengel and others in the spotlight for the event. Of course. behind the scenes was our untiring director, Miss Holt. We sponsored the Annual Christmas Party this year. Santa came and distributed gifts to the students and teachers. From that time on we began to look forward to Skip Day and the Prom put on for us by the Junior Class. On May 31, 1957, we were thrown into the Outer Space of the world. Many memories were collected during those four years at MCHS, which will never be for- gotten. We're proud to be graduates of Minooka High School, and we shall always display that pride as we '4Reach Our New Horizonfl 3 The cast poses for a final bow
