Activities Encourage Relationships Personal and social expression was encouraged by new opportunities in activities and athletics. The Senior — 9 program paired seniors with freshmen, giving seniors o chance to get to know — and in some coses hassle — unsuspecting 9rh-groders. There were o few freshmen who would hove liked more opportunity to express themselves in return. Musically, new small groups were formed, and the bond program sow o major reorgonizoiton, with the best'' bond ratified Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Christmas music of Madrigals and Singers wos recorded and mode ovoiloble for sole on cassette and LP, which hadn't been done for o number of yeors. Vocal lessons were ovoiloble. Athleticolly, teams performed well, with oil Homecoming athletic events M.A. victories and o fair showing throughout the seasons. Spiritually, convocation, homeroom worship rime and Bible classes offered opportunities for self-expression through shoring of talents and opinions. Spiritual Life Week in the foil sow o new opprooch with doily convocations and a parent interaction meeting. Rev. Denny Moon challenged the student body to move towards well-being.'' Encouraged to express themselves in God s love, the choir enriched Thursday convocations with their songs. Youth Alive, a student Bible study group, was formed.
