SADIE HAWKINS Square dancing? Shaving balloons? Going to jail? All this and more went on the night of November 21, when the junior and senior girls grabbed their favorite guys for Sadie Hawkins. About 65 couples showed up in spite of the ice and snow. Some new events were added to this year's festivities: tricycle races, three legged and gunny sack races. Old favorites such as the licorice kiss were still a big part. Many people helped with the organization and setting up for Sadie. Kenny Larson, Jon Klassen, Bart Regher and Sue Behning (senior and junior class officers) were in charge of it all. English teacher Janet Johnson volunteered her services as “Markin’ Samantha” and Barb Olson, English teacher, tended jail with help of many willing sophomores. Tracey Gilmore and Paul Norby also helped. 24 Sadie
