“It's all my fault; I'm the reason. David and Lisa What a time for unity! The drama department started working on David and Lisa September 22. On November 6 and 7 they performed for many students, teachers, parents, relatives and friends. During several of the rehearsals. Miss Tracey Gilmore encouraged the cast to really open up to the others they were working with. A classic time for this was at the un-party. In the play, David, the son of very wealthy parents, is sent to a school for “crazy children. He meets a young girl (Lisa) who is a schizophrenic and through their relationship at the Berkly school, they help each other out. Although the play centers around friendship, touching” was an important factor in making the theme possible. David is cured of his Don't touch me” attitude, showing friendship and love to Lisa. Many hours were spent in prayer, holding hands, and just uplifting each other. Those who took part in the play will always remember: .. . up in the prayer chapel. EVERYBODY ... day room scene ... don't knock that street light over, please ... yes. that has necessary story elements” ... really gave that man ‘what for' ”... don't touch me ... PUBLICATIONS The Publications Staff moved into the old Chemistry lab this year. The old lab was transformed into a den of busy workers, trying to meet their deadlines as they scurried around piles of layouts, photographs, and stories. Being a part of the Publications team means diligent, hard work, and having an unbiased devotion to reporting the news accurately. A school is made up of people and memories, and that is what publications is all about, capturing those memories on film and in print. Tom Engstom. Asst.. Janis Johnson. Antler editor. Tammy Cross.
