Zke 1956 Homecoming HELLO! Perhaps I should first introduce myself. I am 1956 Homecoming. Most of you probably met me a few months ago. I would like to tell you aoout myself so that you will remember me a bit more vividly. The day in which I made my debute was filled with a festive air. As vou approached the chapel you were greeted with a beautifully decorated platform. 1955’s returning Queen Sherrill Anderson led the procession. Then one by one, Sue Rhodes, Bettv Ferden, and Janet Falk, the attendants, entered in navy blue brocade dresses. Following them came the candidates in their shimmering, ice blue, brocade gowns slowly making their way to the platform. Excitment mounted and at last we had our long awaited queen, Queen Hope Dahlen. She made a beautiful queen. A wonderful program immediately followed with many amusing moments. As a prologue to our game we had our annual banquet and bonfire. Our parade was led by the Queen and her attendants to Hamline Field where we met Concordia on the football field. We had a victory over them with a score of 33-0. I do hope that through this brief visit you will have pleasant memories of our acquaintance, for I tried to make this M.A.’s best Homecoming yet!!
