PRESIDENT ANDERSON Congratulations, graduate! You should now have the basic equipment for life's living. Home has surrounded you with material provisions, character training, Christian influence, and basic social attitudes. Your years at Minnehaha should have introduced you to a wide scope of knowledge about the world, habits of reasoning, problem-solving, the challenge of a world's need, and to the claims of Christ on your lives. But there is one necessary piece of equipment no one can give you. Your home can't. Your school can't. Not even your church. That is faith. Outside of this your living is doomed to authentic failure, no matter how well it succeeds. So read the words of the writer of the Letter to Hebrews: And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw men to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Faith is beyond a mood; it is resting our being on the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let Him take charge! ARTHUR W. ANDERSON President

BOARD OF EDUCATION The men who serve on the Board of Education of Minnehaha Academy have had much experience in dealing with different problems, as they represent many different fields of work. They can therefore bring understanding and a lot of wisdom to the monthly meetings of the Board, which does so much to make the Academy a living institution. 12

PRINCIPAL The needs and concerns of every individual student in the matters of curriculum and extracurricular activities, has been handled very well by Mr. Bengtson, our Principal. Endless details involved with administration, and problems of the student body have been loaded upon his shoulders. The busy schedule of a normal schoolday has shown everyone how capable he is in running the affairs of our school. MR. LAWRENCE H. BENGTSON ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Miss Fellroth has been a devoted Assistant Principal for many years. She has been our counselor and constant friend; a help in time of need, and a source of fine Christian inspiration. Miss Fellroth's love and devotion to each student at Minnehaha has made her a very vital part of a student's school life. Her love for Christ has shown in everything she has done. MISS ANNA L. FELLROTH 14
