Team Works Hard . . . Plays Hard
Last year's baseball squad was hampered
by unfavorable weather conditions. In the
few games played last season, the Lions
accumulated a 4-3 record.

A large number of boys turned out for
spring practice this year, and Coach Mar-
cinkowey has fine potential from which to
choose his team. This year's team has fine
pitching and a hustling infield which
should not be hampered by the lack of re-
placements.
The line-up includes Dave Dourm, Gary
Nigro, Frank Haynam, Willie Bingham,
Jim Finefrock, Jim Smith, Dave Finefrock,
Larry Donahue, and Denny Clapper.
The team competed in the Stark County
Sectional Tournament held at Canton. The
Lions beat Canton Lincoln, 4-2, before be-
ing eliminated by Canton McKinley, 9-6.
