These have been difficult years, not only for the student body, but for the faculty and directors as well. Many of the class of 1945 have entered the services of their country. She courteously helps us solve our problems, as if they were her very own. ln regard to our theme she says, For the peace and security of this hemisphere, it is vitally necessary to understand our Pan-Ameri- can neighbors, by a study of their way of life, and to cultivate their friendship. 4 thusiastic and ambitious students to make the most of their high school career. His initiative and encouraging friendliness are an inspiration to us all. Concerning Pan- Americanism he says, I am a strong ad- vocate of Pan-Americanism providing it is based on true friendship and not for material gains.
