Harold Pryor shall be a great success as editor of one of the greatest newspapers in the United States. An artist whose paintings shall be praised the world over shall be Ruth Gardner. Nancy Greenwood shall become famous as a tap dancer. She shall appear in all the largest theatres in New York. The Wooster State Experimental farm shall have a very efficient management, under the direction of Clessent Hilverding, Robert Harsh and Clarence Ray. The thriving city of Minerva, rivaling Chicago in size, shall have as it's mayor, no other than Dick Freed. The Police Department shall have an able chief in the person of Lee Quillen. Pomerene Whiteleather, as a reformer of men shall travel from coast to coast, giving lectures and converting souls. An able assistant in this work shall be Ethel Elder. g The inventions of Deverne Donnelly shall be hailed the world over as those of a genius. The fates have decided that Edna Reed shall be Ambassadoress to England. Nora Witten shall go along as her private secretary. Hoadley Figley is destined to become one of the world's great- est pilots. He shall be made famous over night as the only flier ever to make a non-stop flight around the world. Hoadley shall give all the credit for the success of the flight to Howard Nelson, his mechanic. Beatrice Gray shall make a fortune of huge proportions and make her home in New York City. She shall employ Nadine Went- land as her maid and Ed Haggerman as chauffeur of her private airplane. With her voracious appetite, Gladys Jones shall become the pie eating champion of the world. For her record, she shall consume forty-eight pies in four minutes. Nelson Heldenbrand shall prophesy great things for 1950 and become an internationally known figure. Anna Belle Jenkins and Ruby Haynam shall embark upon the careers of movie actresses, but they shall be found, in 1950, working in a Hollywood cafeteria. Marion Binsley, by virtue of his great executive ability shall be private secretary to the ambassador to Podunk. Suddenly the scroll burst into flames and vanished. Everyone was looking glum and despondent for the parting of the ways was soon to become a reality. To make things worse. a thunder-storm was in progress. Sudden- ly there came a crash of thunder, which seemed to rent the very heavens assunder. We were terrified to death. Upon looking around. lo and behold, there came a tinkling of glass, and through the win'- dow there came a scroll of parchment which fell at Halford's feet. Wonderment was written on our faces as he picked it up, opened it, and began reading. The Great Spirit which looks after the destiny of M. H. S., here- by decrees that, in 1950, Harry Kurtz shall be President of the United States. Those in his cabinet from the class of '30 shall be Ceylon Crowl, Lawrence Ray, Eldon Myers and George Hagan. Arline Blanc shall become renowned as a blues singer, and travel in Keith's Circuit. She shall be accompanied by Kathryn Work. The most famous authoress of her day shall be Gretchen Lewton. Her most popular work shall be entitled Eccentricities of Men. Mildred Yingling shall hold a responsible position with- Barnum and Bailey's circus. She shall be billed as the tallest woman in existence. Four members of the Class of '30 shall carry-on the work of teaching in M. H. S. They are Dorothy Givin, teacher of English, Mildred Welch, teacher of Frenchg Bernice Givin, teacher of Latin, and Walter Syme, instructor of Sociology and Economics. An orchestra, of as renowned fame as Gene Goldkette's, shall have as two of its members: Clair Leasure, saxophone and Harold Lippincott, trumpet. Nella Kidder shall write a very popular book, entitled: Why Pupils Stay Home From School. Elsie Ray shall become manager of the largest Beauty Parlor in Minerva. One of her many assistants shall be Naomi Finefrock. Lois Lutes and Martha Swaney somebody's wives , will settle down to a happy married life. The winning of the baseball pennant in 1950 will be due to the efforts of Earl Matz, pitcher and Ross Rue, catcher. Clifford Blanc shall become famous as the builder of a fleet of chain garages from coast to coast. The Wonders of Women a most popular drama, shall be written by no other than Drexel Dennis.
