We, the Seniors of the Class of 1951, de-
dicate this edition of the ECHO, to the only
member of the school faculty who is a
Milton-Union graduate. Miss. Lair, since
starting her teachingh has been a faithful
member of the faculty and always been
ready to help any student who needs ask for
some knowledge of the library. We feel
that as students of Milton- Union we the
Seniors have possibly overlooked, not be-
cause of size but because of her seemingly
unimportance, one of the hardest working
teachers in the school. We do not want to
overlook all the other teachers, who have
been wonderful to us, but take this oppurtun
ity to thank Miss. Lair for her wonderful
job she has done for the school.

Senior Activities
We seniors have been busy this year raising money for our senior trip. We want to thank
everyone who has helped us.
One of our biggest projects was the Magazine Sales Campaign that was conducted in Dec-
ember. Different awards were given for high salesmanship.
Another interesting event was the Donkey Basketball game.
During the football season we sponsored some dances after the games. Students from the
visiting school were invited.
Our senior class play, "Old Man's Money," was presented on November 18.
Other activities we have had during the year are: paper drives and bake sales. We have
sold pencils and we also have collected sales tax stamps.
These various activities plus our annual sales have provided the funds for our trip.

Junior Activities
We, the Senior class of 1952, have been busy during our Junior year.
When school opened we were faced with a year of responsibility. This was also our year
to work at the football games.
The second month of school we sold red and white "M"pins. For the high school students
we ordered pins with guards on them.
ln November we sold cookie jars, salt shakers, taffy, white crew hats, and canister sets.
During the basketball season we sold small pins and ornaments.
We ordered our class rings and got them in January.
In the last months of school we planned the Junior and Senior Prom. Everyone helped in
this big event. We also gave our class play.
All during the year, we, the class members, worked hard to earn money. As the year
comes to a close we look forward to a greater and better year in 1952.

The football team just missed another
undefeated season for Milton this year
when they lost only one ballgame. The
Bulldogs finished the season with a re-
cord of eight wins and one loss. The
only lost of the season came right in the
middle of the season and happened to be
the crucial game that told the story of
the league championship. After finish-
ing second best to Tipp City, the Bull-
dogs had to settle for the second place
in the Southwestern Buckeye League.
As a whole no one could complain of the
successful season of Coach Holford's
boys.

The season of 1950 was late in get- W
ting started because of the late Spring f A lx
and as a result only 7 regular games
were played. Our record of 3 won and j
5 lost indicates the lack of experience
that our ball club had. Most of the team
was composed of Sophomores and
Juniors, which means in 1951 the record
should be much better. C
The baseball teams of 1951 is play-
ing in a different league and the teams H
ought to be good. The new league is
the Southwestern Buckeye which has
been expanded from just football to all
sports. At this writing there isn't any
results of the 1951 season to report.

From the above gang will come the usquad' of 195
The Track team of the season of 1950 was a
very successful one as they surged to victories in
the Madison Relays, the runner-up spot in the
Stillwater Valley League, the pole vault champ-
ionship at the Ohio Weslyn Relays, and they won
almost every dual and triangler meets they en-
tered last year. Coach Cole lost very few boys
from that squad and he should make it tough on
all oppenets this year.

Bea con Hill Billy
"Beacon Hill Billy" is the story of the fabulous Winthrop-Beanes, of Boston fame. Mrs. Winthrop-Beane U0 Ann
Kellyl tries to marry her son Norris CJoel Thompsonl off to a wealthyheiress, Billy Hill fSally Wrightl and at the
same time keep her daughter, Elas CCarolyn Arnoldl from marrying a greenwich Village artist named Allen Kelcy
Uohn Leal. Besides all this, she must also keep the family skeleton, Aunt Lucky fBarbara Huntl, hidden. Aunt
Lucky had married Mrs. Beane's brother-in-law years before and he had broght her to Boston from Kentucky.
After her husband died, Aunt Lucky was kept locked in a room in the Beane mansion. Billy Hill heard of this and
masqueraded as Aunt Lucky'sniece,Winnie Mae, but soon after, who should appear but the real Winnie Mae KMary
Lou Fritzl. In the mix-up that occurs, Norris finds himself in love with Winnie Mae and soon after, Allen and Billy
Hill announce their engagement. In the role of the stiff, pompus butler, Struthers, is Socky Karns: Darlene Ditmer
portrays the cute but independent maid, Tessie, and Bill Netzley plays the roll of Jock, the family chauffeur, who is
in love with Tessie. Last but not least is the role of Kentucky Twist, father of Winnie Mae, played by Dave Huffaker
