The MCHS Choirs The MCHS Choral Department is comprised of two general music classes and two performing groups. The general music classes are girls’ chorus and beginning theory. The performing groups are the concert choir and gospel choir. The performing groups have entertained at various school assemblies, at Open House, for Community Day Festivities, at ball games, for the Rotary Club, and at Graduation. All the choirs joined together for a concert at Christmas and in the late spring. The performing groups have participated in the following competitions: All-West, All-State, Solo and Ensemble, and the West Tennessee Choral Festival. M.C.H.S. Marching Band The band plays an important role at M.C.H.S. They help to raise the school’s spirit and make the school a better place to be. In addition to the annual spring and Christmas concerts, the band enters their half-time show in two competitions during football season.
