QUILL AND SCROLL These students have outstanding achievements in journalism and have been either on the Yearbook staff or the newspaper staff. In order to be selected for this honor, it is necessary to be a Junior or a Senior in the upper third of the class; the student must also be recommended by the advisor of the publication. ARETE These students have received a scholastic letter The requirements for receiving such a letter include making honor roll tour out of the first five six weeks' grading periods 23
