Milligan College has a unique mission and provides a unique and valuable service to our people. Its history binds it to the Christian Church and to the ideals of the New Testament. Inherent in those ideals is the concept of the priesthood of all believers. My commitment during my term president has been to the education of the people of God in order for them to fulfill their priesthood in the finest way possible. I hope that the last fifteen years have contributed to a fulfillment of that mission and that Milligan's future will further enhance it. Jess W, Johnson Dr. Jess W. Johnson has served as vice president and president of Milligan College since 1966. As of this year, Dr. Johnson accepted the appointment as Chan- cellor of Milligan College effective June 1, 1981 through May 31, 1982.
