Pardee Hall home of the Rowdiesl Pardee is known for its originality. The spirit behind the dorm can take ordinary things and make them exciting. Whether it be cards, frisbee, Dr. Pepper, or just a dip of Skoal, Pardee can make it exciting. The bond which holds the family together is one of brotherly love. The Rowdies share all their experiences together, both good and bad. The dorm has a quality of being wild yet tame. All this combines to give Pardee an immortal character all its own. Boredom is never a part of Pardee's character. When the rest of Milligan College runs out of things to do, Pardee invents new ones. Pardee has developed such sports as Hall Ball , Steps'f, and Blow Pong , which tests the motor skills of the participants, who try to pass a ping-pong ball suspended on a column of air from a blow drier. ln closing, Pardee may be best explained by one concept, which is Springtime. Milligan knows it is spring when the beautiful music begins to exude from Pardee and the Rowdies begin their outdoor Springtime fun. .,. X , . . ,, H x . 331. Hart Hall This year the Sweethearts of Hart Hall not only continued traditions but also started new ones. Some of the annual activities included dorm devotions, section parties, and Hill Duty on Body Hill, as well as a fall and spring clean-up day. Santa Claus talias Al White? and two elves made guest appearances at the customary Christmas party and delighted the kids of a sponsored family with gifts and goodies. The Sweethearts ventured out under the stars with candles lit in their hands one cold December night and a song bursting forth from their lungs. This was the evening of the first Hart Hall Pajama Caroling Party. Valentine's Day brought around the first male Hart Honey Elections. Hart residents, 175 in all, nominated, voted for, and awarded three outstanding guys as their Hart Honies. Dorm life was typical - boring, exciting, happy, sad. There were many special moments for us each.
