Fudem 18■i Lost yeor wos one of surprises for oil MSC students. Out groduoting students In portlculor experienced some frantic moments because of TMI ond the "lost" week in April wondering whether they would groduote on schedule. College officials finally decided the lost week would remain lost and with o few modifications—lengthening library hours, unrestructuring the restructured finals week—everything would go os planned. Then os the weeks passed, students again began to wonder. This time whether they would hove enough gas—ond If they could afford it—to get to final dosses ond graduation. Soon afterword Gov. Thornburgh stepped In ond ordered "odd-even" rationing. The situation eased up ond everyone managed to hold up while 979 seniors stood up at their graduation ceremonies. In fact almost one-quorter of the graduates were honor students ond 22 were nomed to Who’s Who.
