This program o| cned up a whole new division in the art department. Many more courses were offered to majors and to the general student body. The art department also cooperated with the science department to offer general, scientific and pre-medical illustration. During tin1 second semester. Dr. Dominick F'anani was acting head of the department, while Dr. Sykes was on sahhatieal leave. I

As in past years, the hand, choir, string ensemble and Madrigal Singers performed for college and community organizations. i
