Other keys, however, are not quite so tangible and are not to he acquired by merely turning to a ring. Unlike any of the keys to be found on the loop, education as the key to the future is neither tangible nor complete. Since learning is a continuing process and the future is shackled by numerous types of locks, the educational key must be constantly altered in its -diape. If the student refuses to keep the shape of his key to the future in accord with the times, the only future through which he can pass is the future already unlocked by his ancestors — with the only alternatives being either stagnation or regression. DKDIC 1770 Every year I here are new addition to the faculty at Millcrsville State College as is the case at any college. A few short year ago. one of the new additions to our faculty was a man named Cameron I). Iscman. At that time In- was the same as any other new faculty mcmln-r, hut as time passed lie diil many thing for the benefit of the students at Millersville. Most of us go to the C.itamard plays every year and enjoy them very much. We prohaldy do so without realizing how much time and effort is put into these productions. Or if we do stop and think about the work, many of us may not realize who the man is who is mainly responsible for them, lie seems to In- the man behind the scenes and never gets the recognition he so much deserves. When he is not busy directing plays. Mr. Iscman has many other things to occup his time. Some of these things include acting as adviser to Citamard and Alpha Psi Omega, and. of course, his role as a professor. We should all realize the great importance of tin- subject he teaches. Speech is something we use every day, hut it seems to he taken for granted. Since most of us are preparing to he teacher's ourselves, we realize that it is a necessity. It is our means of commit- location. Mr. Iscman enjoys playing the organ in his spare time. Another important aspect is that we find a friend in this man. Me is always willing to talk and help in any way that he can. To us, the students, this means so much. For these reasons ami for so many more that they could not all l e expressed. we. the staff, dedicate the 1966 Touchstone to Mr. Cameron I). I-email. . 4
